The history of the Hotel Olympia
The name "Olympia" is closely associated with the senior manager of the hotel, Trude Jochum-Beiser, a five-time Olympic and world champion and eight-time medal winner at the Winter Olympics and World Ski Championships.
Trude Jochum-Beiser is not only Austria's most successful sportswoman at the Olympic Games, she is also the only Austrian sportswoman so far to come home from two Olympic Games with a gold medal.
